Bluebell Looking

Hello and good morning everyone! Today I want to show you a card I made with one of the new and so sweet images from Wild Rose Studio. I used sweet 'Bluebell Looking'. This cutie is currently out of stock, but I am sure Nikki will have it back to stock soon again. With my card I also want to show you that you can create a Christmas card with non typical Christmas papers. The one I used is an autumnal paper; 'Autumn' from Authentique. But it is great for a Christmas card too. Don't you think so?

I coloured the image with Distress Inks. The die cutted Christmas Trees Nested and the Lovely Doily I added behind the image are from Whiff of  Joy. I embossed them afterwards. The sentiments are from Whimsy 'Holiday Tickets' and I also used the matching ticket die. I embellished my card with some Flat Backed Pearls.

Wish you a wonderful day now! Thank you so much for looking.
Hugs, Karina

Snowy

Hi,  Kathy here with a card I made using a very cute snowman stamp from High Hopes called Snowy Tag .

I decided to colour him and cut him out to use as a tag (you need to imagine him on a beautifully wrapped present, as I have some cards done but I don't have any presents organised yet!) :)
You could use him as a cute bookmark too!
Then I just used his head on the card.

I used the gorgeous Joyous papers by authentique again.  The black has lots of Christmas sentiments in different languages and the red is a fun Christmas find-a-word  (the scroll at the bottom is on the paper, it is not part of my watermark :)

My daughter has a male teacher this year and I thought she might like to give this card to him so I resisted the urge to put stickles on the snowman or letters in case it made it too "pretty".  I did use some of the black flat backed pearls as accents though.

This stamp is actually very versatile.  It makes a great tag of course but there are lots of other ways it can be used with the top portion of the image. Plus .... he's lots of fun to colour.

Thanks for dropping by to take a look :)

Bluebell Behind Presents

Morning,

I have another Christmas card for you today.  The image is from the new release by Wild Rose Studio called Bluebell behind presents, and coloured with distress inks.  The papers are from the 6x6 My Minds Eye Paper pad Vintage Christmas.

I have used the new Marianne Designs corner collectable die called Corner and Winter Sent COL 1342 which comes with a few text sentiments and for this card I chose to use the "Snowfun" text.

I have used the BowEasy to tie the organza wired ribbon and also added a pair of gloves charm, so cute. The flower arrangement contains Ruffle Red Rose and finsihed with the Magnolia Doohickey  Sprawling Ferns, love these.

Lastly I added flatback pearls to the centres of the organza rose trim.

More details can be found on my blog HERE.

Daisy Lighting a Candle

Hi,

Kathy here with a card using a really sweet image from Marianne Design called Daisy Lighting a Candle.

This was one of those times when the card didn't turn out like I originally thought it would.  I was going to colour her all cute and use bright colours but then I started looking at the Mistletoe Magic papers from My Minds Eye and decided to paper-piece her dress and then she ended up being a bit shabby-chic looking. So I just went with that. She's still very cute though!

The little "Christmas" sentiment is also by Marianne Design and is from a set called Corner and winter sent.  It comes with a corner die but I decided to use it this way instead.

Thanks for dropping by today.  Oh and if you haven't started making your Christmas cards yet, well you really should!!!  :)

Rowan Fairy

Hi Everyone,

I have a gorgeous image to share with you today by Sylvia Vet of Whimsy Stamps, she is called Rowan Fairy and is so so beautiful.  I love Sylvia's images. She is due into stock on Monday at BunnyZoe, so if you want to ensure you get one, pop on over here to pre-order.  She sold out as quick as she came in last time so this is a re-stocks that Nikki is expecting in, so if you want to ensure you get to colour her up for Christmas, pre-order is the way to go.

The papers are by MME called Vintage Christmas 6x6.  The star banner is a die by Whiff of Joy called
Stars Festoon.

Flatback pearls have been added to the centres of the snowflakes.

The green gingham ribbon is wired and will do what it's told, lol.  The large red flower is a Ruffle Rose and the text is  Christmas Sentiments by Kaisercraft.

It isn't showing up well in the photo but her wings have a coating of Diamond Stickles

The lampost is a magnolia doohickey die called Paris Night Dies.
